In commitment with Sports, Petroterminal de Panamá, S.A. inaugurated the seventh version of the PTP Cup, a sports competition created with the objective of leaving a positive footprint in the community of Chiriquí Grande, in which a total of 16 teams, each composed of 8 players, represented the following schools: Centro Educativo Básico General Punta Peña, Escuela Rambala, Escuela Chiriquí-Mali, Escuela Los Chiricanos, CEBG Dionisia Ayarza, Escuela Nueva Estrella and Escuela Silico Creek.

The total investment in 2023 was B/.3,242.19 and has directly benefited 128 students from the community of Chiriqui Grande. In addition to enjoying the sports competition, these young people will have the opportunity to learn valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, respect and discipline.

“The Copa PTP 2023 Fut-sala league is an activity with an outstanding track record, for years we have witnessed how this Corporate Social Responsibility initiative has left a positive footprint in the community of Chiriqui Grande, involving and inspiring more young people and strengthening community ties.
