We care about the conservation of the environment

As a responsible company, PTP is are aware of the enormous environmental commitment we have within the planning of all the activities we carry out.

Natural resources are finite, and more and more people are consuming or degrading them to the point of no return. If we want future generations to enjoy the same standard of living as we do, we must act.

We are responsible for the future we want to leave to our children, and we are still in time to take a turn of the wheel to inspire other people to join an unprecedented environmental movement, which will allow us to promote a healthier environment with an enormous biodiversity that will support and benefit those who come walking along with us.

Activities carried out in favor of the environment

We promote recycling and reusing  materials that would otherwise be taken to municipal landfills, further increasing the planet’s pollution load. We have built small gardens with these materials, giving them a second life cycle.

We have continued our reforestation activities, achieving to date a total of 350 seedlings of native species and fruit trees planted at the Pacific Terminal, offering an alternative home and food for the animal species that live in our ecological reserves, gallery forests and concession areas.

The waste disposal system has been improved, promoting the separation of waste according to its type, hazardousness, and handling.  This way, the final disposal of waste can be managed more efficiently, as well as its possible reuse and recycling.

We carry out periodic monitoring of our environmental parameters to ensure that they remain within the standards that regulate them.
