Recently, a large fire broke out in the district of Chiriqui Grande, Bocas del Toro, in which two houses were totally consumed and another one partially consumed, affecting fifteen people in the community.

In view of this event, Petroterminal de Panamá, S.A. delivered furniture and white goods valued at B/.2,383.89 to the residents of the old town of Chiriquí Grande damaged by this incident, thus contributing to the refurbishment of the new homes of the victims, since they had lost all their belongings.

“At PTP we express our solidarity and full support to the affected families, and we hope that this contribution will serve as a first step towards the restoration of their homes,” said Jorge Chin, Administrative Supervisor of the Atlantic Terminal. 

The donation consisted in the delivery of a cabin bed, two double beds, three refrigerators and three washing machines for the affected families.
